Why the internet today is so hard to use? Everywhere I go there are captchas, most of them that damned box from Cloudflare. Most news sites have paywalls and article sites have login walls and other annoying popups. Even using extensions wont help, they always find a way to thrown another notification on your face, without you asking for it. Smartphones then, it is a nightmare, every app have annoying, invasive popups, and sometimes the popups are outside the app as well.
This is one of the few sites that still belongs to the good old internet. Outside here is unbearable. And 80% of sites from 10 years ago dont exist anymore, they got replaced by popup machines. How a neurodivergent can use such hostile internet? It is impossible, I have horrible outbursts of anxiety when clicking captcha boxes. So how did this happen? Some people say it was already planned to be this shit, they talk about enshittification which would be intentional, but I believe there is many errors being done in this case, since the constant battering of popups on your face actually harms productivity. Why would corporations want to see productivity decreased by popups? It makes no sense.
